A Brief History of a Game You've Probably Never Heard Of

In 1999, a 2D top-down space shooter called Rumble in the Void appeared on Wireplay, the UK's dial-up gaming network. It was chaotic, Newtonian, tactical, and ridiculously good. Then Wireplay shut down — and the game vanished with it.

Return to the Void is a tribute to that forgotten little masterpiece. It's still a work in progress, but the goal is simple: recapture the magic of RITV for a new generation of pilots.
